Exclamation 2008 Porsche 911 997 C4S - Engine Ticking

Hi All You Knowledgeable Rennlisters!
This is my first post about my first Porsche and I come seeking your help.
I recently purchased a 2008 997 and have driven it less than 100 miles. I want to love it, truly. But I'm incredibly nervous about the noises it makes.
Occasionally on starting it there is a relatively significant amount of "blue"? exhaust out of the drivers side tail pipes.
While idling there is a distinct high pitched clicking noise coming from the engine. This noise disappears when the clutch is depressed. I've also noticed after a short time idling the RPM's abruptly drops from 1100 to around 900. In the video I say 9000. That is obviously a mistake!
I know the car has not been bore scoped. But documentation shows a relatively extensive history of maintenance.
Can anyone throw some ideas my way?
Thanks in advance!!!
Ali

Good news I guess is that the clutch has no effect on a scored cylinder so the fact that the ticking goes away when the clutch is in means it's probably something else.
My guess would be that there's something loose and the act of pushing in the clutch changes the vibrations of the driveshaft enough to negate whatever is loose.

Have you checked your oil level and compared it to when you first took ownership? Sounds like you haven't had it too long.

@aasilvia
Thanks for your response!
I didn't check the oil immediately after it arrived (because, maybe ignorantly, I assumed there would be no need too.). But when I did it was extremely low. Like blinking level low. So I stopped driving it and added oil the next day. At this point I've only driven it once since I added oil and that was to fill up the tank.

@-Mark (AKA: Hella-Buggin') Thanks for your thoughts! I'm hoping that it might just be something is loose (and inexpensive). Fingers crossed.

My guess would be that it's clutch release fork/lever related. It could be the a worn pivot pin or loose fork/bearing spring that's causing the lever to be loose enough to rattle. The fork is probably rubbing against the rotating pressure plate. when you apply the clutch you're taking up the slack in the fork.

If I start mine, then shut it off, then start up again within a few minutes, I get some smoke as well. I seem to remember reading here that it's a pretty normal occurrence.

Shouldnt the info center alert you when it gets to a certain low level automatically?

AFAIK, the drop in idle after 15-25 seconds is also normal. (I have a .2)
