Are you sure? The consensus here and elsewhere seems to be that even mid-year or later -05 cars got the larger bearing and definitely all -06's. Never heard of an -06 with the small serviceable IMS.

Agreed. Unless the engine was swapped, anything late 05 and later is big bearing.
