Not all 06 models have the larger bearing. You should be able to check the engine number under the car without taking anything off. I don't have the details but less than XX is servicable and over XX is not. That will tell you if you have to worry.
Are you sure? The consensus here and elsewhere seems to be that even mid-year or later -05 cars got the larger bearing and definitely all -06's. Never heard of an -06 with the small serviceable IMS.

Agreed. Unless the engine was swapped, anything late 05 and later is big bearing.
