Thanks for posting this Tubi Style system from eBay. I just bought it... Had been wanting to try this but wasn't keen to part with $3,400. Happy to have a used one for about half that

I purchased my Tubi mufflers used and restored them to as-new condition. I have been 100% happy with them in all respects. Great sound, light weight, excellent quality.

May be a good opportunity for someone with a 997.2...

(A photo of my restored Tubi mufflers appears below the ones currently for sale on eBay...)

I have this system on my 2010 C2S and the installer retained the stock tips. I can't really compare it to anything since it was on the car when I bought it but it is definitely not stock and you get a lot of that flat 6 clack. Small amount of drone at low RPM on the highway but not a deal breaker. Lovely wide open but not obnoxious.

I've had four exhaust system configurations on my '09 C2S.

1) Stock
2) Fister side mufflers with the stock center muffler
3) Fister side mufflers with Sharkwerks center muffler delete / crossover
4) Tubi side mufflers with Sharkwerks center muffler delete / crossover

The Tubi system by far has the best sound for me. The right volume of sound, and equally important, the right quality / tone of sound - throughout the rev band.

I have experienced absolutely zero drone with the Tubi mufflers.

The best modification I've made to my car.

Agree completely with your assessment on the Tubi. Had it on my -09 C4S and loved everything about it. Just curious though why you added the Sharkwerks x-pipes. The Tubi system I bought for the -09 C4S came with side mufflers as well as crossover pipes to get rid of the center muffler. Maybe somehow you sourced a set of Tubi side mufflers but no crossover pipes?

Sandwedge - yes, it worked out for me when I happened to find the two Tubi side mufflers for sale without the Tubi center crossover included. (I had already purchased the Sharkwerks crossover unit previously and used it with the Fister mufflers.) I was lucky. Found them here on the Rennlist Marketplace.

Do you have this exhaust? What are your opinions on it?

Yes, have had it for about 2 years. Great deep throaty sound. Really like it but I can see how it might be too loud for others.

I tried crossover center section with side muffler deletes (straight pipe back from the cat essentially) and it was unbearably loud on cold start, farty between 2-3.5k, and decent above 5k. Drone wasnt great but livable. I am assuming drone on this can only be less. Are there any ranges where the car sounds tinny, farty, or just bad? I really like the top end gt3/cup scream i have heard from this exhaust in videos.
