Well, opinions are like a**holes- everyone has one, and most of them stink.

Doug H "doesn't like" Alcantara on street cars, yet has it on his Lambo.
Also wants a big tail (Which provides zero down-force at any legal real world road speed.) on any 911 Coupé- which presumably includes the 997 Club Sport* and 991 911R/GT3 Touring?

Tcc1999 is "bored" with his PTS and wants a standard build color. But his wife forbids it.
(Hint: The blue color is far from the most unique thing about the build.)

But, ultimately, I cannot argue with you two- as your taste is your taste.

Thanks for sharing.

Vivá la difference.

Carry on.

* Aware that the Club Sport has a duck, but not a "big" tail.

Alas, my wife will absolutely forbid a sale, which is, in the long run, probably a good thing.

Interesting, when you think something truly special comes along, another one is just around the corner. I'm sorry you're bored with your color because most feel those blues just pop on the 911. The good news is that BAT GTS just pushed the value of yours way up. What are the spec's, options on yours? 6 speed?

It was probably 'sold' once they saw how many messages they were getting and figured they'd now try their hand at a higher price?

I inquired about it last night after it was listed at the higher price and the salesman said it's no longer in inventory. I'm looking for a coupe but I was curious since they had told me it was sold the day it was listed.

Yep, that one has been out there for a couple of weeks. . . I suspect it may sit a bit based on miles and the asking price. Looks like a nice car though and I understand that is a dealer that does a lot of Pcar volume in the PDX area.

There aren't many 997 GTS for sale and sometimes we get a little off track. All in good fun though! That one in Portland has been on the market for quite a long time. I'm not sure why it hasn't sold yet. It looks pretty nice. There may be something up with it. Thanks for posting it!

This GTS in Naples Florida is now available. It's a PDK cab car nicely optioned.

The carfax looks good and the mileage is reasonable. $72,900.

The pictures don't match the build sheet. I'm emailing for more info and will update.

Just in from the Naples dealership regarding the GTS:

"The pictures you see are stock images. The car is currently at Porsche being inspected. I will work on getting you actual pictures as soon as possible. The car has suede cloth seats."

Is it just me or are a good number of the 997.2 GTS that appear on the market Carrara White? See more than I would expect in white. Might just be a sample size issue. . . Curious though.
