Wow. Absolutely lovely example. Peak non-GT, non-Turbo 997. Should bring good money for the seller. Thanks for sharing!

Mine's a 2012 and the spacing is the same as the door script. Too much between Carrera and the G and the TS. The G just looks off for some reason. I don't think there's anything hinky about the car, just that it's not one where the owner would remove it for any reason.

Made during Octoberfest?

My best guess is it get's to $99k.

Oh, come on, Bob.
3 of 4 wheel cap crests are not pointing at their valve stems.
Blasphemy.

I predict it gavels for MSRP. Already $88K with 5 days remaining.
Serious bidding on BaT begins in the last hour.

Meh, not so much. It’s okay if you like driving around a Blue M&M with people taking pictures and waving all the time - I wouldn’t want . . . Oh, wait a minute . . . Nevermind.

Only reasons I can think of to remove it would be to paint the script if it wasn't part of the PTS for some reason and the owner changed his/her mind and wanted it to match the color of the car. Or the unlikely event of a rear end story that required the script to be installed on the new deck lid and ended up a bit off. Wouldn't be the first time Carfax missed a rear end story. Ask me how I know. Absolutely not implying that's what happened. Just throwing out one possibility why the rear end script looks a tad off.

BTW, note that this is a 2012 GTS, Even though in 2012 - GTS (Coupe and Cabriolet) were not produced, rather, only GTS-4 (Coupe and Cabriolet)..
After that I saw that the vehicle was built in 2011 and delivered only in 2012 ..
The total GTS coupe produced worldwide is 2,656 units, all in 2010-2011.

Window sticker lists painted rear model designation, NC.

The seller says no paint, bodywork. Says it had ceramic coating done a couple years ago. Maybe the detailer took it off when that was done?

I'm still guessing it gavels for close to original MSRP.
