The colors go great, the blue is the only other leather I would get besides black. If you plan on keeping it for some time you'll want something dark, it ages better. My dad had a jaguar convertible with tan leather when I was younger....never again.

Sounds like a great combo to me. That said, I’ve owned three cabriolets with tan leather. It’s awesome, and I like it much better than a dark interior.

It is very hard to tell from pictures if this blue is really dark blue. I don't like light color interiors UNLESS they are two tone with Black dash, wheel, door trim etc. I think two tone interiors are the best. I hate when you get reflection of a light colored dash in the windshield, very annoying and distracting. And there is something just wrong (too me) about a light colored steering wheel. This Sea Blue in pictures is often times hard to tell if it is blue or black. I haven't seen one in person, is it this dark in person?

Yep, those look great together. Only drawback is if you plan to make some interior changes like sport seats or additional leather pieces, as it will be much easier to find people selling black ones than sea blue ones

My '07 C2S is Midnight Blue over Sea Blue which is a rich dark blue. It is not a light blue and you won't get a reflection of the dash on the windshield. I think white over Sea Blue is timeless in its appeal.

Metropol Blue is a very dark Blue - I think the Sea Blue is a bit lighter.
I prefer the dark Metropol Blue - They are hard to find not many made
SIlver/Metropol Blue is a beautiful combo.

Here are a few additional photos of the Sea Blue interior color. Definitely not a light color at all...
