Default Suggestions for avoiding the front end scrape

Well, my town has decided to fix the curbs and bring the sidewalks closer to the houses. The work isn't done and I'm not sure if it's an improvement over the unauthorized improvements that I made (Bridjit ramp followed by leveling with asphalt).
I still have the Bridjit in the garage but that's really for a dip that is much narrower. The issue here is the high crown in the road (I think).

Will entering and exiting at an angle be sufficient?
Would activating Sport or PASM stiffen the suspension and preclude a dip?

I guess I'm blessed to have such a "First World Concern" as scratching the underside of my 911's bumper cover.

In any event, I have to have the car towed. On previous threads, I've mentioned that the battery is dead and I can't open the frunk (yes, I've tried all the remedies) It's due for new tires. Any suggestions on a brand that may be a millimeter or two larger in diameter?

How do you know its actually going to scrape until the work is done?

Entering at an angle is usually sufficient unless there is a large increase in the height of the driveway and it sure doesnt look like that from the pics. PASM will stiffen the suspension but not change the ride height. And unless you plan to hit the entrance at 25mph it wont do squat

Just wait and see if its actually an issue before going to extremes like looking at tire height changes of 1mm

I have a lowered car and occasionally scrape on things. Honestly I just gave up worrying about it. There are some scrapes underneath but no one can see them unless they get down on their knees and look. So unless you plan to concours the car, I wouldnt sweat it

Don't complain when your city is actually spending money to do such work on your curb ..... I need a dirt bike to get over some curbs here in my city ....

Enter on an angle always and I put a double layer of gorilla tape matching the color of my lip (black in my case) along the bottom of the the lip and i add a few additional layers right in the center of the lip where it is likely to scrape most often and it works like a charm ... When the tape gets scraped up I just put another layer over it and replace the entire strip once a year ..... The scrapes never reach my lip and it is still as new as the day it was installed and unnoticeable !! Not bad for a 6 buck roll of tape ...

From the picture, it looks like you'll be fine with just an angled approach. Also, if the street isn't busy, you may find that backing in may work better than pulling in forwards. If it's a dip, it doesn't help, but if it's a mound, it backing in has the front tires lift the nose up vs having the nose scrape the ground while the front tires are still on the lower road surface.

If I don't use the airlift on my 997 I have to back it into my driveway, and also have to do that for the 914, both of which are lowered or have low front aero bodywork.

I have a stock 2008 C2S and I approach my driveway at about a 45 degree angle and it works for me.

If you're not lowered and approach it at an angle, you shouldn't scrape.

If you do, perhaps try the SLiPLO sliders.
