Default Options Sticker Source

For some reason, my car did not have either the under hood sticker or the sticker in the maintenance book. I tried to replicate the fonts used by Porsche, but it always was just enough 'off' to not be right...in my mind. I was aware of the fellow in Spain that offers replica stickers but it seemed that the material he used did not appear to be the correct tearproof waterproof matte white self adhesive material used by the factory. I found Chris on eBay (https://www.ebay.com/itm/26269042637...m=262690426376) and his offerings seemed to be pricey, but spot-on.

Turns out that Chris is a very reputable guy and his product is absolutely correct down to part of the font being slightly lighter in areas. The waterproof paper is exactly as used by Porsche, and as you can see from the photos, they are perfect replicas of the OEM stickers.

Contact Chris directly at info@911-247.co.uk.

My question would be why to even bother with such a detail???? Under frunk therefore out of sight, and not even pretty to look at..... I remember ripping these off on previous cars. So why would you want this?

It's an effort to keep the car as authentic as possible. Adds to the provenance of the car, as does the Certificate of Authenticity shown on this thread. The original owner of this low-mile (10,000 mile '05 Carrera S) has all of the paperwork for the car and has sent along scans but has retained the records. I imagine that the options stickers are amongst those records.

Very interesting that you’re missing the stickers on a car originally sold at The Collection dealership in FL. My 86 was also purchased there new and is missing them. I understand the stickers were originally delivered with paperwork from Porsche to dealerships. It was up to them whether they were applied to frunk and book.
