I might be selling my 2006 Carrera S in the upcoming week. It's a 2006 Carrera S, white with black interior, 6 speed, all stock except for the Eibach springs, Xpel PPF, tinted windows and on 19" Work VS-FS's. The mileage is currently at 22K miles.

I've owned it for 2 years now and bought it with 14K miles. It passed a clean PPI when I bought it, I'm the 2nd owner and the car was purchased in San Diego and spent it's life in Southern California. I love the car but my wife is constantly throwing it in my face that I bought a Porsche.

To your post #16 above:

Groove why do you keep making up crap? I answered you a few years ago but you insist on spreading outright lies.

Your wrong on all your info but this is the most blatant. The new owner had issues one year and seven months after sale blaming a repair made three years earlier. So you would warranty a private party used car sale? He even admitted his new engine only had a ONE year warranty.Hence this garbage frivolous lawsuit went nowhere. Seems several in this fiasco got banned, suspended, changed user names, etc.

If I were in the market I’d check that out. There’s an accident reported but no airbags deployed.

They also have a 997.2 S with half the miles for $48,998.

Thanks for the links but I'm trying to stay away from cabs due to they don't seem to hold value as well as coupes do.

You're strategy is all wrong - you need to get her one too, not get rid of yours.

I'm really not trying to be too picky but I'm only considering, black, silver, greys, maybe a few other darker colors. No whites or yellows (gag) for me but that's just preference. CS coupes with 3.8. auto or manuals.

Feel free to hide it in my garage in La Mesa. I promise not to drive it.

My wife also complained about my 997.2 when I purchased it last October. She complained because it was the third 911 in the garage and couldn’t understand why we needed three 911’s. This past December number four showed up a 911-50, she doesn’t complain about having three 911’s any longer

I wish it was that easy but she also wants me to get rid of my Supra twin turbo too.

Will it somehow end up in Mexico?

I wish I could get to that level. I've been searching for a long hood to restore and when she glances over at my phone, all hell breaks loose. Why the !@#$% are you looking at another 911?! Only 3 years into our marriage and my ***** are already in a vise.

What I'm specifically looking for would be an older 997 CS, coupe, manual, in decent mechanical condition. Repairs are no longer a problem because I now have a much larger shop to work in than I did with my last two Porsches. John Irelands 997 was almost exactly what I want.
