Default 235/35 & 315/25 on C4s

I’m looking at a set of wheels that have 235/35 and 315/25 is this stagger ok on my C4s? Is that sidewall difference correct?

You want 305/30 on a back ideally. "30" is a key number.

You want the same profile as stock to not mess with the AWD system. There are many calculators for such on line so just pull one up and check

Thanks, this is what I thought.

No it isn't. The ratio of tire diameter from front to back is what is important.

305 * .30 = 91.5mm

315* .25 = 78.75

That is too far apart unless you also went with a smaller aspect ratio front tire. But theoretically you could have a 365/25R19 or maybe a 355/25R19 tire and maintain the correct front to rear diameter ratio.

You are dialing in more understeer with that width spread, in case it matters to you.

I don't think you can get wide enough in the rear with a 25 aspect ratio to work with a decent front tire size. What I mean is to get the right rolling circumference with a 25 aspect ratio, the tire gets too wide for the wheel and for the clearance in the wheelwell.

My next set of tires will be 245/35 or 255/35 with 325/30 rear, but I'm running 12" rear wheels with custom offsets.

Isn't 245 front and 325 rear the current 991 GT3 sizing for width?
