Yes it’s wool. Pepita is a very slightly different design than Houndstooth.

my first car was a 73 AMC hornet with houndstooth interior!! I loved the interior of that car. The rest was OK.

The shop did the actual removal of the inserts but took them about 3 minutes. Three clips on the top and a tab/slot kind of thing on the bottom.
They just pulled and lifted up and was out!

I did not see how they did the bottoms.

If you could find out that would be much appreciated. I was always under the impression these seats were not easy to convert. If the cushions can pop out, it would be straightforward to have a second set made up so you can return to stock as desired - like the bucket seats.

Those are beautiful Joanne. I've been thinking of something similar. My 911 is a terra cotta, and the black and tan pascha would go perfect with it. To match my 928 interior.
