Mine is the same as Iceter’s

 

Mine pops with little provocation. Keys in pocket and look the wrong way and it pops up. Never popped on it’s own.

 

Remotekey can be installed which can be coded to make the trunk release need a longer press from the remote before it triggers the trunk release.

Also gives you one touch up/down of windows from remote, one touch passenger window control from driver and horn honking when locking and/or unlocking.
