If you are serious about the 1/4 tank thing, be aware. Running low all the time will eventually wreak havoc on your fuel system. Lots of particulate matter (sediment) will get sucked into the lines over time, and could cause issues. I typically always keep it above 1/2 to 1/3. Usually keep it full. Also, at the track, a 1/4 tank doesn’t last that long.

Also attached a reference to OEM GT2 seats. You can find used ones on the RL marketplace and on Ebay now and then but they don't last long and seem to go for $7K to $8K unless trashed from a lot of track use.

If you are 198# and three perent boy fat I’d say to forget about GT2 Sport Buckets (unless you are 6’6”). They are narrow without very much padding, like they were made for skinny european in mind. (I love mine during the cycling season when I am around 155#, less so in the winter when I’m 15+ pounds heavier.)
You pegged my body weight at 198 lbs.but I'm 6'3", not 6'6" and I say it again, the buckets fit me like a glove, literally. No, they're not plushy or anything close to a luxurious experience but they're the perfect seat for a 997 imo. No question, they don't work for everyone but they work for me and many others and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Check with tirerack, on the 16.3, I've checked 100times, to make sure and asked them.
You maybe right, by Fedex scales. but I have to trust Tirerack for now.

My Forgelines - 19" x 8.5 and 12. My Champion rs171s were a pound or so lighter, but don't think 16 lbs is possible

Are you saying OEM 19' Porsche turbo wheels at 16.3 lbs? I didn't think TireRack sold OEM Porsche wheels. Maybe they do now. I just checked and couldn't find any. So what specific wheels did you buy? Again, 16.3 lbs is 5 to 6 lbs lighter than the highest quality forged wheels for 997 Porsches I've ever seen and a set of four for any of those will run $6,000 to $7,000. Just curious......how much did TireRack charge for the wheels you bought? Not trying to knock the deal you got but 16.3 lbs for a 19" / 8.5" or 9", never mind the rears at 19"/ 11,5" or 12" could be one hell of a deal if the wheels are high quality and priced competitively.

That seems to be as low any of the top brands can get with a quality product. Low 20's. Very consistent between all of them which makes the 16.3 lb number look a bit curious.

I ordered SUPERFORGIATA @ 16.3lbs and rears @ 18.8lbs, forged, black gloss, from O.Z. Racing, and from tirerack. They fit my 2011, Porsche 911, Carrera S.
997, cab.
They are not OEM, 19". Please look them up at Tirerack. They are what I wanted, light, and forged. They cost, 4k for the set.

I have a set of Superforgiata. I've been going by the weight on the tirerack website.. the OZ website is showing the wheels a little bit lighter. Sweet! Nice to know.
I have a set of these Superforgiata that OP has mentioned, Mine are a little heavier (centerlock wheels can be a touch heavier for the same size as 5 lug) at 18.0lbs front and 21.8lbs rear. Very light wheel. I got the Superforgiata on closeout from tirerack. Regular price $7300.

I don't know the first thing about Superforgiata but that's amazing if they managed to undercut all the well known brands by 5 lbs to 6 lbs per wheel and more than $2,000 for a set of 4. Looking forward to pictures. Great find btw. Never really looked for wheels at Tire Rack, just tires.

OZ Racing is a well known brand. For race cars.
A blurb from wiki;
"As of 2011, OZ currently supplies the F1 teams Red Bull Racing and Renault Sport, the Ford World Rally Team and the Audisports car racing and DTM teams.[2] They are exclusive suppliers to the FIA Formula 2 Championship, GP3 series and before its closure in 2010 the A1 GP series and supply 90% of WRC teams and 80% of IndyCar teams.[3]"
