You don't want used - Buy new for $350
Great choice in lowering springs - Love mine and great stance and performance.
Also allows use of PASM which other suspension lowering kits prevent.

Groove - how’s the driving with the H&R’s? I believe it lists a 1.2 inch lowering. Any issues with bottoming out/driveways/rubbing?

I got the same H&R 1.2” lowering set on my 997.2.
Ride is bumpier compared to stock.
Car is low enough that you will need to learn how to manuver without scraping.

However, I do love the way it drives and handles. It’s more agressive.

I have no issues with bottoming out and the ride is great.
If you have a driveway with a severe angle where it hits the curb, it could touch the front rubber/plastic lip but they are designed for that purpose and can be replaced if it gets too chewed up.

+1. They're cheap enough brand new where there's no need to try to source a used set. Drops it by about 1.25" all the way around so there may be some scraping of the front lip here and there. No big deal though in most cases. I've had H&R's on all three 997's and haven't replaced one front lip so far. I've fixed my scrapes (light ones) with some wet sanding, old newspapers, some blue tape and a bottle of satin black spray paint from Home Depot. Looks factory new after that treatment.

Looks great. Pretty amazing what how a drop changes the car. What was the install cost?
I have bought Eibach springs, but I'm questioning my decision - they aren't installed yet.

My GTS came with Eibachs and I swapped to H&R's within a week of receiving it. The H&R drop is only 1/4" lower which sounds as if it would be something that can barely be seen but the difference is noticeable. Maybe more so to me and anyone else who came from previous 997's with H&R's. Just as there will be those who say the 1" Eibach drop is just right and enough. You'll get all kinds of opinions on this.

seriously lol, as we've talked about especially on the rear wheels. I kick myself over choosing Eibach's...

Good point. I could probably live with Eibachs on the fronts but the difference is more noticeable on the rears. What hasn't been mentioned yet in this thread (I don't think) is that lowering springs pretty much require wheel spacers to complete the stance most are looking for. The drop tends to tuck the wheels further into the well which is a good bit in there even in stock config. Cheap and simple fix for cars with 5 lug wheels. Different story for cars with CL wheels. No spacers on CL wheels so the only option is a whole new set of after market wheels with customized offsets.

I went with Techart lowering springs after discussing with Sharkwerks. They were adamant that Techart was best for ride quality.
Only lowers .75 in but that’s enough for me. No complaints whatsoever (and no bottoming).
