Good news / bad news - FS: 2005 997 Carrera S
The good news is I have a new Porsche (718S bought and posted last November) the bad news is the pressure has been mounting from my better half to let go of my 997...

You're crazy to sell that car. Way too nice. Buy the wife something from Tiffany's in exchange for keeping it or get a lift and rotate the two cars if garage space is the issue.
I'd be looking for a CPO wife
It would cost someone more than $10k to reproduce those Vorsteiner bumper mods and the wheels to the quality they're done on your car, even if they could find the bumpers, which are NLA for the 997.1.
At least raise the price $5k.
I'd say GLWS but you won't need it.

Uhhh... that is an extremely nice 911. Maybe sell something else instead? Like the 328i?

Priced very well. Agree with above, sell wife, buy girlfriend, keep car.
Or could you just paint it the same color as the 718? Prob wouldn't be able to tell the difference......

Pressuring? Why?
What the heck... I am going to wade into a mess here... I know of a few friends with very controlling significant others. These items can be a method of control.... toys... time.... then friends..... All ended in divorce... as it should.
Peace

Oh man, I agree with the others. You still have time to pull the ad, but you better move quick - that car is not going to last long, especially at that price. You should at least ask for more.

Wait a second, I've always heard "it's cheaper to keep her" - No??
Kidding, I was tied up yesterday and just opened RL this am and you guys are cracking me up!! I've had the wife for 17 years and still adore her for many reasons, one of which is that she's never batted an eye at any of my choices with cars whether in what I buy, rent, what roads we take, or even when I dragged her to the middle of Western Germany just to drive a one way toll road around a small town...
If I could bring myself to do it and look my children in the eye while helping them fill out their student loan applications or my clients whey they were cramming in the back of a 911, she'd be ok with it. This one is all me, its just more fun to say its her.
Appreciate the compliments and interest, speaking with several fellow RLers now.
