Thank you but I am not optimistic. First, I expect that someone will outbid what I can justify spending at this point in time, even for such a nice car. Second, I don't think it will make reserve. Third, I am negotiating on a 2008 which may happen before the end of this auction.
This car was for sale at a dealership in Chicago last month for $45,995 but it is no longer listed there. Can't imagine the reserve being a whole lot less than that but we will see.

I am coming in hot and optimistic at $36,500 
The miles seem low for a "refresh", but the seller could always claim bad roads and truckers caused a lot of road rash and pitting to the front end over 15 years. Therefore kind of justifying new windshield, headlights, and respray of front end.
It's got some decent options with interior bits painted, ims retrofit, and porsche sport exhaust. keeping my fingers crossed!

The narrative still seems weird to me: I don't get someone dropping $11K on paint, $? on IMS bearing, etc. and then just getting rid of it. Someone along the line is eating a lot of scratch.

I might buy into the paint refresh, but what doesn't add up for me (yeah, I know, I'm having a Columbo moment) is that only one mirror was repainted. In all my years of driving and owning sports cars and lots of road rash, I have never, not once, seen it affect only one mirror. If there is rash on one mirror, there is rash on the other one too. And yet only one was repainted on the subject car.....hmmm.
And headlights? Windshield? Grill - replaced? That's a new one on me.
