Are you aware that the redline on a 997 GT3 is 8400 and range 1 over revs start at 9000? You have to be 600+ rpm over redline before registering a range 1 on a 997 GT3. Where as on a 997 turbo, the redline is 6750 and range 1 starts at 6800. 600 rpm over redline on a 997 turbo has you well into range 3 (only 50 rpm short of range 4). I know for certain I have registered range 3s on my 997 turbo just from hitting the rev limiter. So you can bounce a 997 GT3 off the limiter all day at a track session and have a completely clean DME, but hit the limiter hard in 1st one time in a 997 turbo, register some range 3s and people will claim it's been money shifted and on borrowed time.....
