Impressed a base 2005 with 70k miles went for that. Still a hell of a bargain considering people are paying that same money for rusted out SCs.

I was surprised the base 997 got to 33K due to winter season. Holidays also create more emotion for purchase so that could be another reason for the higher sell price.
Over the years, clean non-abused Silver Porsche's seem to get higher money. I've noticed this especially with
356
early 911 models
911sc
Carrera
964
993
and I often see this with manual transmission 997 and 991's.
I don't usually include 928's in Porsche discussion
but Silver 928's seem to also get better $$
I think Silver being the German Race color during the early years (pounded aluminum) means a lot too. especially with the 356 and early 911 market.
I understand some people might disagree but there's a lot of evidence if you research sales. These days manual transmission 997/991 seem to get some decent sale prices

Belated congrats to Groovzilla! I missed the cutoff but would have guessed somewhere around 25. As a base 997.1 owner this gives me hope for not losing much if any money if I were to sell ... not that I have any plans to.
