Default CONGRATS!

I love the change you made and hope it's all you are hoping for. Both beautiful machines!

Beautiful car and a great trade for a number of reasons imo., # 1 being that a Cayman is not a 911. Drove a Cayman once (loaner from the dealer) but couldn't fully appreciate it since I just don't fit in it. At 6'3" it's way too cramped in there. A buddy of mine who's a little shorter than me love them though. He's on his second one now and haven't heard of any plans on going to a 911.

One of the reason for the 911 is the 2 seat at the back. My 2 daughters are 5'1 and 5'6 tall, always want to go with us for a ride to Whistler. Too bad that I don't have winter tire yet so we only drove to Squamish, BC. Big smile on everyone face, Priceless!

Excellent. And you got a rare car too. The 997.2 was built in limited numbers to begin with because of the great recession. The regular GTS in even lower numbers and the 4GTS in lower numbers yet. Only 1,321 according to this source: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...l#post10927000

Very interesting, Thanks for the link. Another reason I want the 4 (beside GTS) car is for our mild winter driving. We don't have a lot of snow in Vancouver but the rain. Boy, it rains like no tomorrow!

Just in case you need to buy iCarsoft to reset your engine light, I helped someone here while ago.

Congratulations. I've got a similar car, but in black. Great cars.

Is there any way to check out how rare a certain build is?

I have a 2012 C4 GTS 6MT, alcantara delete (apparently rare), short shifter, aerokit (and some other options). I knew it was rare but didn't realize the 997.2 GTS's were that rare as I do see a reasonable amount of 991 GTS's.

One guy this past summer was telling me the alcantara delete and aerokit are rare options. The alcantara delete and aerokit, plus the condition were the reasons I paid the large premium (IMHO) over a regular S.

Congratulations! Great choice and awesome ride! That was a very nice Cayman you had before too. After you have had some time to run it through all the same places and spaces as you did in your Cayman it would be nice to hear your thoughts on the two cars. Enjoy in good health!
