2009 997.2 C4S, manual, meteor grey metallic with black full leather. Has most of what I was looking for and more than I need.
Wanted a 997.2 C4S to upgrade from my 997.1 S to get the DFI engine, updated interior, nav that is useless but pretty, and all wheel drive. Been looking for a while, 2 years but nothing for the bill. Then dawgcatching from the forums was thinking of selling his car.
Options it has I wanted are plain colors, full leather, heated seats and that manual transmission. Plus a good history obviously.
Options it has that we’re not make or break are sports exhaust, sport Chrono package plus (have to look into what this means in a manual), multifunction steering wheel, carbon fiber package, park assist, crests in headrests.
Options i I couldn’t care less are supple leather (So supple!).
Wish it had ventilated seats seats, heated steering wheel and no drilled front bumper but those are small omissions, which I can add later.
Woke up today not knowing if my loan would finalize but it did. Bought a one way ticket and met up with dawgcatching who couldn’t have been more nice. Had ppi done earlier but took it for a spin and did a quick inspection. Paid and then drove over Mt hood with summer tires.....with full coverage!
Now to transfer some of the extended leather parts to my new car, order 997.2 tpms for my winter tire set. Brother buying my 997.1. He’s just as excited as me, will be his first 911! Probably be more active as I upgrade and dial this into my taste.
I bought my 997.2 C4S from a Rennlister as well!
He didn't even advertise it on Trader or Kijiji.
Preferred to sell it to an enthusiast.
Amazing car. It's becoming quite the project car for me.
