Like Petza, I will almost guarantee you that it is the battery. Replace it. With the same problems, I had bought a new ignition switch and figured out how to by-pass the clutch pedal switch. But replacing the battery solved everything.

I put my 3 weeks old battery under battery tender yesterday and will check it. Plan B is to buy a new one and see if it solves the problem.

How do I check if alternator is working properly?

You'll need a multimeter for this, and it's very simple. With engine running measure voltage across the battery terminals. You should see approx 14.5 volts. The battery's primary purpose is to start the engine; once it's running the alternator takes care of electrical needs and recharging the battery.

You can test this, as I mentioned in my earlier message, by disconnecting the cables from the current battery and only connecting them to the jump start cables. Then try to start the car.

Question still rise, what could have made 3 weeks battery to go bad? I have to investigate the issue more. I was told battery dont die like that something has caused battery to die
Could have been a bad battery to begin with. The 997 RL'ers know about batteries so when you see a response saying "it's the battery" it usually is. Glad you got it all sorted.
