New to me C4S
Should be closing on a 2007 C4S with 57k miles on it later this week. Here are a couple of pics. More to follow. Note highly optioned but in great shape! Can I add factory PSE? Love the sound of the PSE and would like to get something similar.

Yes I believe you must have "Metropol Blue" very deep dark blue - Looks beautiful with silver exterior
I had a 996 C4S silver/metropol - Beautiful combo

As you see they also sell Tubi for almost $1,000 less and Agency Power for just $975. I don't have first hand experience of PSE or Agency Power on the 997.1 but I had Tubi on my -06 C4S and the sound was amazing. It also has (sort of) a built in PSE loud/quiet switch but no actual switch. Just keep the RPM below 3,000 and it's almost stock quiet. Above that, whole different story. There are other options out there like Fabspeed, AWE and various "hacks" that just modifies your current mufflers to sound similar to PSE.

You can add factory PSE for $3,250 from Suncoast: https://www.suncoastparts.com/catego...neexhaust.html

Congrats and welcome. Let's see the interior pics too. I like having a switchable exhaust. My car came with factory PSE but I upgraded the exhaust to a Fabspeed Valvetronic version that works the same way, but sounds much better - like a race car, especially when the Variocam plus kicks in around 3,800 RPM. If looking for used OEM PSE systems, they require special exhaust tips, so make sure those are included.

Congratulations and yes you can add PSE. If you want to do it relatively cheap watch ebay or some of the forums a used system usually pops up and you can order any missing parts from Porsche. I suggest listening to as many of the systems as possible to figure out what sounds best to you.

**As far as PSE, I have had 4 Porsche with PSE and very hard to duplicate the sound - My current 2007 997C4S has PSE and the only aftermarket exhaust note that has come close to the sound of PSE is the FVD Brombacher Level 2 kit which was on a 996 C4S I owned.
It was installed by PO and I don't think it is a pricey upgrade.

Congrats on your C4S! I know some on this site don't get their cars wet except to wash them, but one of my favorite things is spirited driving in the rain with the all wheel drive. This car sticks like crazy. Very confidence inspiring.
