Default Installed the leather console in my Turbo

I always thought it odd that the full leather interior has leather pillars but not a leather center console, especially when the Cayenne Turbo has much more extensive leather (though executed at a lower quality by a supplier). This weekend the final leather components arrived and I installed:

1. Leather center console with rear pocket
2. Leather armrest with Porsche Crest
3. PDK Trim
4. Leather ashtray and handbrake insert

All OEM, and more expensive than alternatives but you can't achieve the same quality using a normal console as a frame as the full leather consoles are different to incorporate the thickness of the stitching and leather. 3 month lead time due to Porsche making these to order and huge thanks to Heather @ Suncoast for keeping me in the loop at every step of the way.

Perfect match, and I love the exotic feel imparted by the visible stitching and quality of the stitching as it follows the various curves.

Looks beautiful here's mine! Made a huge difference in my 911 experience! I can't find my pictures but it really completes the interior!

Good Luck!

Tom

Lovely! Especially the embossed lid and shift surround.

I didn't even realize my car came with the leather centre console until I posted pictures of the car after I bought it lol.

Lucky you- as I understand, it's a rare option.

Yeah, it's not a bathroom remodel, you'll never get that money back on resale. Do it only if you have more money than common sense. Either you have a lot of money or little common sense, either way, you can pull the trigger.

Checked the sticker on mine - about $5500 total for 'full leather' 'leather rear console' and 'leather visors' but will never for the life of me forgive Porsche for then putting those stupid airbag stickers on the leather sun visors. I will try to remove them this winter.

My 928 had full leather, even the headliner. It's the only way to go.

That is the dream car - polar silver met with red leather so it must be tough to cover it up too much.

Did you order new or seek it out.

I was looking for a 997 and when I found this combo I had to have it, especially with the comfort seats and five lug wheels. Shipped it from Ohio to California.
