Default 2012 C2S

Currently own a 2009 model and found a 2012 CS2 that I really like. It has 400hp manual.
However it comes wth one function that I'm not keen on. It has the engine shutoff while idling. I tried to find information whether this function can be eliminated and some say it can, but another dealers say it couldn't. Who is right ?

What a terrible feature to have in any car let alone a P. Unknown if it can be software defeated in the car or by the dealer - but there may be an aftermarket defeat module. Lots of companies sell modules to help defeat the asinine features we get stuck with.

My 2017 MDX came with a NAVI that could not be used if the car was in motion - go figure. Bought a plug and play aftermarket module to trick the system into thinking it’s always in PARK. Worked perfectly.

It stays off in sport mode which many prefer most of the time. Its not too annoying and just takes time to get used to.

I do think there is a button to disable.

i wouldn’t pass on a 991 for that.

One of my pet peeves as I hate this feature.
Here it is on a 600HP V12. Just seems stupid.
Luckily it can be disabled.
