Thanks for the pics and feedback Speedwagen. Looks great
I've also created a new thread for the 997.1 version of the kit here:

Another update on the upcoming adapter kit for 997.1:
As soon as I released the 997.2 kit I had a lot of enquiries regarding 997.1 fitment. Unfortunately the 997.2 kit doesn't work on a 997.1 because there are no receiving slots in the 997.1 bumper.
However, after testing several designs/options I am now busy with final testing for a 997.1 kit, and should have the first kits available to ship by the 3rd week of November.
I've PM'd those who already reached out asking for a 997.1 and will start a new thread with details and pics shortly.
The 997.1 kit will be priced either the same or slightly below the 997.2 kit (depending on the final materials and design testing currently underway)
Please PM or email me if you'd like to get on the pre-order list.
Thanks in advance

I installed the lip and the adapter kit I picked up from Alex today and I am really happy with how it turned out.
EMC was kind enough to email me the instructions and they along with the adapter kit were awesome. Very well put together and the quality of the kit is amazing. Took me about 45 minutes to do but I took my time and triple checked all the steps as I went along. I whole heartedly recommend this to anyone with a 997.2.

That link is for the spoiler only.
The Spoiler can be sourced for around $175 - $185 from various online sources (price varies a bit over time). Just search the part number 991505525011E0 in google.
If you'd like a kit you'll just need to PM or email me and let me know which email address you'd like me to send the PayPal invoice to.
Thanks

FYI I came across this sale for the OEM Spoiler - only 1 left and currently the lowest online price which includes shipping ($182.79)
No affiliation, and I haven't personally bought from them, but they seem to have good reviews:

Update:
2 x 997.2 Kits remaining.
Please PM or email if you are planning on ordering a kit anytime in the coming weeks as I also need to build up some stock of 997.1 kits and therefore determine how to balance the demand between the two kit types.
Thanks in advance.

Important Update 21 Dec 2018 ( I've added this to the first post in the thread also for future easy reference, as posts mid thread can easily be missed.)
I’ve had 2 customers with lowered cars and one with a very steep driveway that had the 3M VHB secured wing supports (which are non-structural) detach due to frequent impacts of the spoiler against the ground.
The OEM spoiler is supported by the 6 main adapter clips which carry the full load of the spoiler and are extremely robust. This has been validated by those members who’ve had the scraping issue; these adapters can take a lot of abuse.
The Wing Supports by comparison were intended mostly for cosmetics and to keep the 991 Spoiler Wings from flapping about freely by pinning them against the underside of the bumper. As they were not supporting any meaningful weight the default approach is to attach them with the pre-applied 3M VHB Tape. This method is very reliable provided:
The good news is that the 991 OEM spoiler is very flexible and can definitely withstand a lot of scraping without damage (except cosmetic scrapes on the underside which are usually not visible)
For those members who do not have a way to easily avoid such scrapes I decided to create a bolt on version of the Wing Supports,
These are the same design but use a well nut with a hex cap stainless steel bolt, and provide a very strong solution that will withstand even regular scraping. (see pics below)
This requires a hole to be drilled for each of the 2 wing supports, but this can be done easily and safely.
I’ll be making the full kit available with both options in future (both kits will be at the same price pf $239).
For existing customers who’d like to change to this version of the Wing Supports -

- the area is cleaned and prepped correctly before applying the tape
- the spoiler isn’t prone to frequent impacts or scraping
