Default New To Me 2007 997C4S - Good To Be Home!

Had a fun trip down to SF Bay Area to pick up my car. Sport seats did their job while cornering. Couldn't believe how centered my body remained when shooting thru the turns.
Calistoga was beautiful and relaxing.

Since selling my 05 997S a couple of months ago my intent was to buy a 991, but after driving my friends 997C4S I had to have one. They are a hard car to find - There seem to be very few 997C4S's on the market and those that are for sale tend to be funky color combo's or Automatic Transmission.
I've always loved Meteor Grey and PSE which I had in one of my 996C4S's - I think the PSE is one of the best options available.

Had PPI done at Porsche Burlingame.
Spent 2 months negotiating/arguing/making deal/backing out of deal/making 2nd deal/almost backing out a 2nd time - Long story but in the end seller was true to his word. Took 2 months but got it done.
Probably the 1st time I tried not to get overly emotionally attached to the car so I could use better judgement regarding sale price. I was patient and it paid off. It almost got sold during the 2 month's of pissing at one another but it all worked out in the end.

2007 C4S - Meteor Grey w/black leather interior - 76K miles
- Sport Seats - w/ Adaptive power option and heated
- PSE - Porsche Sound Exhaust
- H&R springs - 1" drop
- Function First Retro Shift Kit

The combination of the sport seats, short shift kit, PSE and slightly lowered suspension add a great quality to the ride. Really happy with it's performance. I've never had sport seats in my water cooled Porsche's so it was really great to find they are so comfortable and you don't need to be good at gymnastics to get into the car - Bolsters on the old sport seats are huge and require young back and legs.

PPI showed oil a bit dirty so I scheduled oil/filter/belt service in downtown SF at Auto Sport Haus after picking up the car. Shop came highly recommended.
Frank the owner/mechanic was so nice to deal with and helpful - Freaked me out when I met him in person - Never met someone Asian who speaks with German accent

regular seats have no molded hardback, no shoulder bolsters and shorter hip bolster - totally different shape

Well done. Great options and as you say there seem to be very few 997 C4S's on the market. Not that it matters much but I think the H&R drop is 1.25". Techart/Eibach is 1" even. That .25" difference doesn't sound lime much but really completes the job of lowering from a visual point of view. 1'" looks like it comes up a bit on the shorts side imo. Had H&R springs on all three of my 997's. Perfect drop and no adverse affect on comfort.

Congratulations and welcome back.

Those are Porsches best seats for a 997 unless you're tracking it. I have the full power ones like yours with the pneumatic side bolster adjustment in my silver 997 and put the manual versions in my 928 and in my office

Very nice car with just the right amount of options. Looking forward to seeing what mods you do.
Approximately how much did you have to pay? Just wondering what the market is like in Nor Cal.
Congratulations!
