Before you screw with your suspension again, I would learn the DSC first. Unless you are the type that just loves doing stuff, in which case, have at it. If you are trying to achieve a goal, then you must learn and learning can only occur when you change only one variable at a time.

I really want the Getty duck tail. It looks like it will cost around 2k to buy then however much to paint and install. Is there any negatives to wanting the duck tail.? It will take me until the end of Feb 2019 to save for it.

Yes. Sorry.....I screwed up the initial response. Just read the abbreviated web link and saw that it started with DC so assumed it was Dallas Custom but that link is actually for DCT. So to answer your question, Dallas Custom Wheels built the wheel with the red stripe and the red stitching in the GTS: http://www.dallassteeringwheel.com/sw1.htm

Whereas my V1 became absolutely useless the Unifen r3 is brilliant. I had to run the V1 muted because it was constantly alerting and flashing. The R3 is “smart”. It is very quiet. It learns repeat false and automatically cancels them over time. I set mine to be silent under 35mph. It will automatically mute alerts under a preset speed around town. It will allow you to mark locations of false to aid in the “learning process” since it has GPS. I also mark locations where cops typically sit on the highway so it will let me know when we are approaching that area, weather a cop is there for not, to slow myself Incase of a laser. It is so customizable that it allows you to use it any way you deem useful. You can tell it to not alert any band, for instance I do not need X or K bands. I only want to be alerted of Ka bands. It is invisible to radar detector-detectors.

I was skeptical as to how much an improvement it would be over a simple radar. I’ve been blown away by the uniden. It is truely a modern radar detector. I don’t have to keep my eye on a flashing and muted V1 watching for the deaded Ka dot to show. I run the uniden with volume on and it only bothers me when I should know something.

Hope this helps.
