Sorry to bring up an older thread, but just to confirm...
Manual trans. 997.2 (no MF) can swap to 991.1 (w/MF).
Porsche Dealer would need to activate MF function though.
Correct?

Drive dial doesn’t work. I needed the steering wheel, new airbag, gprs adaptor for the heat and multifunction, Clockspring and steering wheel controller. About $2000 all in. Had my mechanic code it. So nice having a heated wheel.

@kellen is the photo of your setup? if not yours, wondering if @scadams could also verify if the drive function dial works.

Not mine. I put a 991.2 in my manual. Looks great. But per the gprs adaptor guy who is pretty knowledgeable it can’t be done.
