Curious to get an idea of pricing on a 2011 GTS with 51k miles/RWD/manual. With the standard options PCM 3.0 with Bose, XM, Adaptive sports seats in Silver. Clean DME and vehicle in Good shape. No PPI yet.

Pricing is all over the place between private sellers and dealers and I'm having a hard time getting a grip on the market.

Also have a question, I know that PASM is standard. VIN lists p17 "Sports Suspension" but not PASM. Is that in addition to PASM?

Thanks

Thanks

That means it has Sports Suspension which is 20mm lower. Looks better, but stiffer ride and the standard suspension is already stiff.

A car w/ 25k miles would go for maybe $79k. I think that the additional mileage...to me...is at least .50 a mile. So 25k miles x .50 is a $12,500 mark down MINIMUM....But I say $17k mark down. $61k-$62k is a pretty fair guess. Depends where you live too.

And was the clutch done.

Interesting one here. 2008 Turbo Cab. Kinda far from me though, 500 miles. Looks beautiful, well maintained, coolant pinning done, exhaust/tune, garaged, etc.... 45k miles. Inside looks nearly perfect too, unlike that last one I drove that looked like all hell broke loose in the interior....

Default 997 PPi recommendations

Hi I am new to the forum and looking at buying my first Porsche 911 one of my dream cars as a kid, I have read the importance of a PPI and looking for a reputable shop in the north wood area of Massachusetts. Any recommendation? Looking to do a PPI before I travel to Massachusetts to see the car. Thanks in advance for the advice.

Default 2006 C4S, 6spd.

Tl;dr Just paid $52k for a 997.1 C4S two owner car. Some may say I over paid, but I like to think I paid a fair price early since I intend to keep it a long time.

I searched for months for a low mileage 997 Targa 4S, 6spd, in Seal Gray/Cocoa - impossible. So I opened up scope to include C4S any color except red or black.

The last 8 months have been a whirlwind: missing several fly-and-drive opportunities either due to work or a crazy seller’s market.

Finally, one popped up close to home last month at my local dealer...but it was Basalt Black (I didn’t know there were two blacks). Well, black’ll do!

2006 C4S two-owner, 6spd, Basalt Black/Sand Beige, 49K (now 51K) on HRE P40 wheels. All records, recent major service, new front rotors and pads, and a fresh set of Michelin PS2s.

First mods (in order)
1. Winter set of wheels and tires - sotos on Starkes with 7mm spacers
2. Numeric shifter (cables not installed yet)
3. DSC V1 controller
4. Summer wheels sent to HRE to be refinished in Brushed Dark Clear (5 more weeks)

Given the current market and the history and records of the car I think you did ok. Love those wheels btw. Probably close to $6K worth of among the highest quality forged wheels available. Had a set of HRE on a previous 997 and the light weight and overall finish/quality is top notch imo.

Default Higher mileage no option 997 price manual these days ?

The 996 market has really gone up 25 to 40 percent in 18 months. Is the 2005 first year base 997 with a manual buyable for my 25 to 30 k budget ?? Not looking for pristine ? Looking for a driver with a manual and 30 k is my limit. Are the 997.1 cars depreciating ? Or staying pretty much flat ??

yes, but I’d think mileage will likely be 125k+
