My '06 C2S does have seat memory, but the passenger's side mirror only tilts down in reverse when the mirror adjuster switch/**** is set to the passenger's side mirror. I'm not sure if this is documented anywhere, I just happened to notice it one day.

***Solved***

Apparently somehow drivers down and pass up defaulted to off so I just had once again reprogram to on. Problem solved.

I've made it a habit to always re-read the settings for the module I have just completed coding, as I've noticed the NT520 will display the setting of your last coding attempt, but the coding doesn't always seem to actually take affect.

Thanks to user BaileyII I have confirmed the horn honk on remote locking can be enabled as well! I have added this info to post #34 as well.

Could you share which settings you changed?

The option is in "Rear>Customer Specific Settings>Acoustic Alarm Output", change this setting from horn to siren.

Hallelujah! You don't know how many times I've walked away from the car wondering if I actually locked it.

Hmm, weird. I'll have to try the same option in durametric as I believed that that setting only affected the device that would give off an alarm in my coding manual.

I tried to get it stickied (like your post should be), but could never achieve it:

Wow, that's a great resource. I'd love to put together something similar for the Foxwell devices. I'm sending you a PM now.

I did the above and it didn’t work for me now my alarm is silent plus I can no longer see the “Customer Specific Setting” setting under “rear”, it disappeared. I guess I accidentally disabled the horn for the alarm. I’ll have it reset by the dealer if I can’t find a way for the NT-520 to read “rear” and give me the "customer specific settings" choice again.

Wow, that's scary news. That's what I have been fearing, with the whole coding process it is very unclear what is happening behind the menus. Can you let us know if you have 997.1 or 997.2, if your NT520 is running the latest software and what the resolution is when you find it?

When I go back to the "Rear" section I get a "that function is not supported" message and not the "Customer Specific Setting" but when I checked for error codes under "Rear" I got a "8061-Siren communication" error code. I'm not saying it's the fault of the device it's a mistake on my part even though I was careful.

I have a 997.1 and using the latest software in the device, I still have a sd card with the original software so I'm going to put that one in the device and see what occurs, I'll keep you posted.

Used a Durametric to clear the 8061 code, switched back to horn from siren and everything is back to normal plus the Foxwell can read "rear" again.

Glad the Durametric was able to get your "rear" section back again. So strange that caused an issue for you, but at least it wasn't a trip to the dealer.
