Got some new shoes! Been looking at the OZ Leggera HLT wheels for quite a while. Every couple years I get the urge to update the look of my car and wheels play a big role in a car's stance and how a car looks.
I had the OEM Carrera Sport Wheels, but finally decided to pull the trigger on these OZ Leggera HLT wheels and new set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. I went with the GT2 RS wheel/tire size setup. I am very happy with how it turned out!
Front: 19x8.5 et 53 OZ wheel with 245/35/19 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S
Rear: 19x12 et 51 OZ wheel with 325/30/19 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S
Was surprised to see the rear tires' width, 325mm, compared to my puny 295's. Did some arithmetic to find that the wide tire's circumference however is less than 3% greater - so minimal effect on the speedo/odo. The Leggera HLT's look especially great with that body color!

They are 8.5 x 19 et 50 front with 245/35/19 MIchelin SuperSports
11.5 x 19 et 67 rear with 17mm lightweight spacer direct from Porsche factory that way. I guess this is how Porsche did it before they manufactured an offset et 50 version.
these also have 325/30/19 Michelin Supersports.

The original 305's were already super meaty. These are awesome too, but for me running wider wheels the 325's aesthetically look awesome to me. ;^)
I am running the Eibach Pro-kit which is about 20mm lower drop. Similar drop to Porsche sport suspension setup. from some of these lower angle photos the drop does not look very low. Yet when standing next to car it looks like a nice low ride. about 1.5 finger spacing between arch and tire.
Very nice! Saw the Starke's and realize they are a replicas of the Leggera's.
The offset on the front look just right. These must be bright race grey? Did you notice the reduction in weight?
yes, race grey. They resemble like a gun metal grey. I was worried I would not be able to find oem color center caps to work, but was very glad that the Carrera Sport wheel caps matched almost perfectly!!
as far as weight reduction for tire plus wheel... 3 lbs lighter each front. 6 lbs lighter each rear. Definitely feel a bit of a difference in overall responsiveness. Not a night and day difference like adding 30 hp, but there are moments when i think, wow that acceleration felt a bit stronger or more crisp. The Michelin pilot sport 4s feels quieter and less harsh over all, but that usually happens with new tires. Looking forward to taking it through the canyons!

Yes! The Oem Carrera Sport wheels are already a grey paint color (GT Silver) with polished lip. Although they look a bit lighter side by side with the OZs. I think it had more to do with how light bounces off the hard angles on the OZs vs the soft shapes on the carrera sport wheel, but when I popped the 997 carrera sport oem center caps on the OZ it is almost a perfect color match. I was very excited because now it has a real oem look to them. :^)
