Can't tell in the pictures but I'm curious as to the Pressed Finish option listed in the build sheet.

Have you seen it in person yet? I'm willing to bet that the interior shows much more signs of usage than the pictures would suggest (black/dirty shift ****/e-brake handle).

What is "pressed finish"? I did notice from additional photos that there was wear on the drivers door which seemed excessive for mileage and around where the key goes. I have read that the lighter interiors don't wear as well as the darker ones?? I test drove a 2003 a few weeks back and the interior was in excellent condition. It was a black on black car. I have not seen the car in person. I do however really like the color and the rims. They were the exact ones I planned to buy. It's also lowered one inch.

I spoke with lufteknic today. That's where I will have it checked out if I decide to proceed. The entire bore scoring has me freaked out. I can afford the car, but I can't afford to buy the car and then spend another $15k + if the engine goes. I have always wanted a 911and if I get it I'm gonna drive it all the time. I have no desire to buy one and let it sit.

You shouldn’t lose sleep over it if you do your homework and check all the right boxes. As dc911s said, there aren’t a lot of cases of borescoring in the .2, but it does happen. It’s widely regarded as a bulletproof engine.

Spend an an extra couple hundred bucks to get it checked it out thoroughly, then drive the wheels off it :-)

I daily mine and it puts a smile on my face everyday.

In almost 1 year of ownership I only had to add 200 ml of oil to keep it topped off. That’s almost 10k miles in my 2009 4S.
