I can't stand trucks and 95% of the time I can't stand the drivers either... at least in my area. Everyone buys them to show what a big strong macho man they are and they all drive like morons.

All they seem to do is sit in coffee shop parking lots smoking and spilling coffee all over themselves and their mossy oak camo rubbish.

I just pull over waving them by with "if you insist on being a douche do go ahead" hand gesture. they are off my *** so im looking where im going instead of them consuming my mirrors while I look where ive been. it makes them feel like they've won, where as I know ive won watching them bully the next car in line...

 

They are here in Ontario Canada as well. Its a crowd behaviour thing--trucks are the new "me too" vehicle. People who drive trucks fit into 2 categories:
PANT's: People Actually Needing Trucks. Contractors and the like
PAFI's: People Attempting to Form an Image. Shiny pretty trucks that get washed daily and never see work, rear bed rarely used, jacked up with off road tires that never see the dirt. Macho, macho man.

Its category 2 types that seem to try to egg you on--typically driven by a 30 year old with a white baseball cap on backwards, white sunglasses, and a thick neckchain.
Let them go--nothing to prove. I never bite.

 

Watch out for this one.

 

^^^ That's unbelievable and should require some mandatory jail time, but why egg that crazy ************ on by purposely hogging the fast lane and not allow him to pass? That's really dumb. The car beside the 300ZX in the right lane is contributing to the situation. Seems like all three of those drivers are either stupid or crazy.

I live I a rural area , you cant go anywhere around here without getting tailgated by some stupid truck.


You can go 80 in a 35 zone and still get tailgated.

 

sometimes I slow down , real slow , then when they try to pass ,I jump on it, I watch that boost gauge hit 1.2 bar, then just laugh when they cant get by.

 

Are you ever concerned that one of these guys will see your 996 Turbo parked somewhere and take some retribution?
