When I first got my 996TT, there were all kinds of bad drivers circling the car and such. One guy was so bad, that I slowed alot. He went to pass me, and as I was giving him the bird, he was giving me the thumbs up. He just wanted to check out the car.

In Ca, there are all kinds of people, and I just try to ignore them.

If boogers flicked from the middle finger don't work I have let loose whatever beverage I may have on a few occasions. I have heard of a handfuls of coins used for the worst offenders, a bit extreme for me.
Anyone else want to install 007 type paintball guns?

You flick something at another car on the Chicagoland expressways these days and you're likely to get shot......

2 types here IMO. Ones who just want to see us mash the gas and those that tailgate/drive poorly around everything.

More stringent driver testing is long overdue. If you don't know how wide your car is, how to parallel, start stick on a hill, merge, read/speak English, go through a round about or 4 way stop, you should not be allowed to drive in the city. Stay rural while you learn this stuff or just use public transportation.

Agreed to the nth degree. Want to start a petition?

Ok I'll make it more technical to placate the OCD pedants amongst us.

Is there a mod I can buy or make and use legally that will stop dumbasses in trucks climbing all over my back bumper, even when they are struggling to do so due to road or traffic conditions?

Technical enough?

Rear-facing RPG launcher should be effective. Just kidding.

^^ OUCH sorry!..now trade into a turbo! ( kiddin..)

many disdain the addition of the aftermarket LED tails for these cars but a bonus to them i have found that ( though i don't recommend it..) really seems to work which is a quick stab of the 3 led's as they are far brighter than the oem's, even startlingly so.

it seems it never fails to suggest to the person following that they might be tailgating.

I always thought a couple studio photo flash units aimed rearward at about driver's eye level would be pretty effective...
