I’m a long time lurker and this is my very first post. I think all of you guys on this forum are amazing as I couldn’t have gotten my dream car without your guy’s help, even though you may not know it. Growing up in Munich, Germany, I always wanted a Porsche, so I said to myself, when I get older, I’ll get my dream car; a N/A 996, 911. A Turbo always seems out of reach and I never thought it would be possible financially, but just recently I found one locally (San Diego area) that was priced so perfectly, with the perfect specs and perfect mileage (in my opinion) I somehow made it work. PPI at Black Forrest here in San Diego came back perfect, and now I am a proud owner of a 2002 Seal Gray 996 Turbo Tip with 58K miles and factory CF (partial) interior. I knew these cars were amazing, but I never thought I could get this addicted this quickly. To me, this beauty is PERFECT in every way, and if I never own another car beside this one, I would be 100% satisfied and consider myself beyond blessed. Anyway, thanks again guys and here are a few pictures.

Dranon, thank you very much; I absolutely love it, and I’m sure I’ll have plenty of questions in the future, so knowing you guys are here for me/us noobs eases the worry of ownership a lot, especially since I bought the car to drive A LOT! I’ve put 1K on it in only a few days and the PO put about that much in the last 2 years. 😀 I’ve owned my other dream car, R129 Mercedes Silver Arrow for a few years now, and you guys are just as amazing as those other guys on Benzworld, who help/ed me with my Benz. 👍

You don’t need a reason to take it out, just go out for a drive for stress relief or just for the fun of it, you will always come back with a smile on your face..they are a remarkable car that just seems to get better the more you drive them.

Thank you very much for the compliments. Yes I will be doing ohlins in the near future. Can’t wait, as it rides low and harsh right now.
