Where I live (and I believe in many places), 5-0 doesn't use X or K band radar at all, so my old school V1 with X and K disabled is still the perfect tool for the job.
If I had to worry about X or K, I'd upgrade to the BlueTooth version and run the phone app, as a poster mentioned above.

What are the pads for under the tires? I'm not sure I've seen that before.

They are just foam pads I had put under the tires for winter storage just to help with not getting flat spots...I just leave them on the floor year round now
