Could be wrong about that.

Got rear ended by a lady putting on makeup at 100km/h when traffic suddenly stopped. So sad. Insurance paid out more than I paid for the car it was so clean.

Still, I would rather have that Dino.

By the way, I'd take the Dino as well !
The Dino is awesome. I still have a factory repair manual for a Dino 246 GT!

Yes, it started young for me and has never let up since.
Looks like a lot of Porsche guys started out the same way. I was a VW nut and owned about 6 of them, mostly Sciroccos. My last two were Callaway Turbo charged, with the last one being the best - 2.0 Bubble block (from Ron's Parts in BC - anyone remember him from 30 years ago?), ported and matched 8V head, rear discs, Sachs sport suspension, stress bars, It was very low key looking (copper brown metallic). I ran the usual 10PSI or so boost and it was a giant killer.

I remember the surprise on some poor Acura NSXs face driving to Florida with my ex. Our car was loaded to the gills with luggage and we stayed with him up to 150MPH. that was hilarious.

Great stories!

I remember Ron, and Ron most certainly remembers me - a lot of goodies came out of his shop and onto my Rocco...

I remember him like yesterday and 100% he remembers me as well: "HEY GUYYYYYYYYYYY!" Used to work with him quite often when I worked at AMS Advanced Motorsport Solutions in my early twenties during college days!

He was a good and knowledgeable fellow; I believe he sold out in the early 00's, but by then I was heavily entrenched in my Ricer Phase.

Didn't he put Zotz candy in every order? I used to get a lot of stuff from him.

I don't recall that. He was local to me, so I would run out to poco to pick up whatever...

That is most certainly a road I would like to drive; there are a number of fellows over on the 991 T forum that have done it - most certainly on my bucket list.

Now, go to it and take some pics, as you have no snow...

We used to drive through Ohio and surrounding states just to find the backroads that R&T and C&D used to talk about in their publications. Those were amazing times, with less cars on the road and less clutter.

It was amazing to whip through backroads that snaked like a roller coaster.
