Love it! Although, why in the world did they keep the rear seats in...?

A pal and I created this short video on mine minus the yellow headlight tints. Hopefully the link above works.

Nice video! Normally when someone talks about "my pal and I created this short video..." it's brutal quality. That was a nice surprise. Car sounds and looks great!

What exhaust do you have on there?

Thanks man

The exhaust is a custom one from a company in the UK. It is the full system with hi flow cats.

I really don't understand why the "egg lights" get so much hate. I think its a super different design. I guess because it didn't model all the previous generations. Coupled with a Metzger and a manual transmission these cars are only going to go up from here.

Hating the lights gives some with low self-esteem and/or a non-creative mind a platform to peacock on.

To me the lights on the Gen2 996 are quite sophisticated looking when compared to oval versions so will age very well, only old school purists hate these lights, 996 sold particularly well when new for Porsche so the lights weren't universally disliked.

I don't think it is a true "purist" thing. Many folks who work at PCA are 996 owners, who is purer than those folks. It's a snob thing, posier purist.
