Looks like the spare was used. Take another $5,000 off.

That car has been for sale locally on Craig's List for a few months. It's not far from me if someone wanted a "Rennfax".

Tip, 48K miles, non-factory (and inconsistent) two-tone seat upholstery, non-factory carbon trim, and a $62K ask?

Hard pass...

I don't disagree, it's not a 'collector grade' 2005 S, that's for sure. IMO they're simply trying to cash in on the appreciation bump for special 996 Turbos...there's a reason why it's been on Craig's List for months.

Is there any chance the two-tone seat upholstery is a factory option of some sort?

Good question...the back seats don't match the front seats....the back seats are plain gray, so I would say no, it's not factory.

However, the door panels do match the front seats, so who knows?

So if the leather is a Porsche option (maybe an Exclusive option), then one of the "hits" on the car isn't a hit (outside the potential hit personal preference of the interior may have), leaving the car at a reasonable asking price (barring some other problem(s) that are at this time unknown).
