If all works out with the sale of my 997 Turbo (which he is selling on consignment for me), I will be picking up this 996! Yes, it's expensive, but based on the current value differentials, it's difficult to ignore the amount of cash I will pocket on the difference. And I really love the 996 Turbos, in some ways, more than the 997s. I'm also aiming to be possibly the first to go completely backwards from 991.1TTS to 997.2 Turbo to 996 Turbo!
Funniest thing is, I bet most people won't even be able to tell I got a different car! My wife will probably just think I took my car off the market and brought it back home!

Yeah, that's definitely not right. I see it wrong all the time though so it's always worth double checking in the pics. My 997 was actually listed on the dealer's website as PDK back when I bought it.
That's awesome! I still sometimes wish I had held out for a red one. Something about it is so appealing!
I also found this black one today on Hemmings - https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds...ml?refer=alert
If anyone looks at that one, I would highly recommend checking the paint. I BELIEVE this is the other one the guy was trying to sell me when I bought mine from NY. I believe he told me it had some paint work done to it when he was selling it. If so, maybe that's why they did a ceramic coating? To throw off the paint meters?
