It has, but so what, I still love looking at it. F***ing gorgeous car. It's prestige all_the_way....Can you imagine being the guy who laid down a buck fifty for that beauty? The anticipation must have been excruciatingly painful. Too bad nobody really drove it :-(

Every time that car comes up, I really want to see what the all leather rear shelf is.

 

I've never seen 'leather rear shelf' or anything similar on any of the order guides or build sheets I've seen... I'd like to see a picture as well as the option code.

 

I very much expected this one to break $50k. I think a bit of 996tt fatigue might be setting in on BaT. I take my hat off to the seller for having the ***** to run it as no reserve.

It did break $50K with the buyers premium, $51,450 with the 5% to the Buyer.

Honestly it seems like more than full money to me... I know some go gaga over the X50 option, but ultimately it was an 87K mile turbo with the less desirable (and somewhat tired looking) grey interior and more than a few dings and dents.

I do agree with 996 Turbo 'fatigue' on BAT (four 996 turbo's this month alone and sixteen more auctioned last year...)

Oh yeah, it's HOT. The older I get, the more I like the Speed Yellow Turbos. I just wasn't brave enough to go down that path when I pulled the trigger 3 years ago.
