So I looked it over again. When I saw the 2005 Turbo, I immediately thought of the S, but then I look and see red calipers. For sure it needed work and the headlights were weathered.
Priced appropriately.

It was a great buy if you wanted a cab. Unfortunately, most buyers of used 911s are looking for coupes. Run of the mill Cabs are not very desirable.

So I may as well keep my 17k mile cab garage queen indefinitely.

c041v posted during the auction that there were 93 in the US and 7 in Canada. He also said this car was the final non-S turbo made in 2005.

Yes but how is different than a 2003 or 2004 Cab aside from the year?

2004 & 2005 were low production years for all TTs.

I guess my point was the features or options are not different than previous years.

There is no difference thus they aren't worth anymore or less.

$55k 6 speed 01 Turbo in FL with 92k miles. I thought only cars with PCCM had the HVAC controls under the radio ? Are those Boxster cup holders ? Has carbon on the door panels and leather wrapped console, dash etc but I don't see it on the VINAnalytics can anyone shed some light ?
I am looking into this car currently, but the process has not been the best -- Car is on consignment. Sales rep swears by the car mechanically -- BUT getting pics and info has been painful. I asked for pics and info early yesterday, and got a million stories, one was there was an unexpected check engine light that came on, and that it was headed to the shop, which was the cause for the delay in getting pics over to me...the next story was that the light was not on and it was mistaken for another car.

I was finally able to receive pics and video yesterday. Paint looks metallic in some pics/videos, but according to the window sticker, does not appear to be a metallic car originally. There may a tape line, but it may just be detailing product. It's hard to tell from the video and pics...it may be oxidation or a repaint. As I type this, I am 99.9% certain I am not a buyer for this car...I was hopeful since it is at a Porsche dealership, or as the sale person put it, a select Porsche Classic dealer...

Priced really low, and 90K+ miles, probably a story car (even with clear Carfax)

I would not buy something you haven't seen in person. Driving it is obviously going to give you peace of mind but seeing paint condition via pictures will be a disappointment when the car shows up. Price seems a bit high for a black car with very few options.

This car was sold on BaT last year. Looks like the CF trim is stickers/decals and not actual parts. You can see at the time of that sale, that the center console and HVAC had more of the "trim". There are also better pictures of it.

Notably, it sold for $48K. $55K now seems like the right amount of inconvenience for a opportunistic dealer sale. If you follow the comment history, looks like the owner traded this for a 997 Turbo.
