It went for $59k plus BaT fee. I think if the seller was more knowledgeable about the car and it's current mods vs previous mods, it would have gone higher.

Too many mods to bring top dollar. Collectors are looking for bone stock and low miles.

It had a GT700 kit on it at one point apparently. Not 100% sure about that kit but I do remember reading some of the older cars had the ecus physically modified to actually tune these things, I suppose this was before Cobb and WinOLS became a thing.

Yes, the older tunes often used a piggyback ECU wired into the OEM one.

I think the Tune on Dock's Turbo is this way.

Yes it is. Good memory.

I have the Evolution Motorsports Stage 2 tuning (GIAC) which is a piggyback module soldered onto the ECU.
