If anyone ever sees a blue, yellow or red high mileage car for cheap please pass it on to me. I'm looking to build a high horsepower car but, not looking to ruin a clean example.

This is a good deal for anyone in the market.

Appears to be oem 997.1 turbo set for 600.

firstly, they didn't come of a "porsche gt2". ( sizes SAY 19x8 X 19X11..WRONG! ) not gt2 ) plus it says 2003 turbo. also WRONG! ) and if they did? the owner was drunk ( urp..) secondly, there is something aesthetically wrong to MY eye about 997t wheels on a 996 turbo, but you're discovering the joy of ownership and that is rule number one, is please yourself without being a wan*er. lol and to each their own! and f88k everyone else!. if the tires are any good tho? it might a good spare set but check out the sizes!

no self ( or car ) respecting g2 owner is affixing those wheels to a proper gt2. plus the rears are 11's! would they "fit"?! sure, probably? are they car correct? not by a longshot.

CL IS a dicey place! so, caveat emptor! and i would NEVER buy sight unseen from an unknown source. just some advice from one who has scoured for deals for nearly a decade. but ultimately do what makes you happiest. i think 997 wheels on a 996 SUCK! and yet, i love the led tails! so two sides to every coin lol.

First, I agree, I really like them on a 996.

Call the shop and ask them to send you a photo with offsets so you can verify.

OEM are

Front: 8.5X19 ET56 (997.362.156.05)
Rear: 11X19 ET51 (997.362.162.02)

But if these are oem, then 600 dollars is a steel.

Brad, I don't think they are OEM. Though I might be wrong. They are known as Turbo II wheels from a 997 turbo.

They might not be oem, the picture with the offsets is unclear, however I don't remember mine being stamped on the slats, leading me to believe they might not be oem.

Check out this photo for comparison, turbo I vs II.

I really want to pick these up so I can use my original wheels as track wheel/tire setup, but if someone else can swing it before I can....

Sweet looking X1/9 in the garage! I had one as a high school senior/college freshman. I had a love/hate relationship with that car. Someday I really want to get another - and this time I won't rely on it as a daily driver!
