I am a little confused, as the early Carrera 4 is not wide body and only became a wide body s car in 2002.5, just wondering if all the early turbo cars were wide?

Yes, all Turbos are wide body (as is the "C4S", distinguished from the narrow-body "C4").

There are a few little differences between the 2001 MY and the later years, but the body is the same.
