Stock Exhaust vs. Speedtech 3.0" Competition X-Pipe

First 30 seconds of video I actually like the stock better; Is the stock really stock?....I do not recall all those gurgles and pops in a stock exhaust. After that it's personal taste. 3" is more "race-car" sounding though naturally. Nice video work!

Yes, it is actually a completely stock exhaust, although maybe the mild mods have something to do with the sound? The car had a tune and upgraded DVs before I bought it, but that is all. Shouldn't affect sound much. To each his own, but for those craving a race car like sound and more volume, this is a great choice. Thank you for watching!

Dock, I may be biased, but I will share my honest thoughts as a 16 year fellow Rennlist member and we will see what others may say.
IMO, our 3.0 XP sounds absolutely fantastic in the car. It reminds me a lot of driving a Ferrari F430 when you wind it out. I know they are completely different cars, but the SpeedTech X-Pipe sings like an Italian exotic in the mid to high RPM range and it is just a blast to operate. It really wails at WOT. Due to the higher pitched tone of our X-Pipe design, it is extremely comfortable cruising on the highway. For instance, just this past week I was cruising at 60 in 4th gear on the highway and noted absolutely no perceptible drone whatsoever. Just pure great sound for a full 3" system with 100 cell cats.
We also offer a 2.5" version of the same system, if you want to turn the wick down a little.

Thanks for the report.
All the "exhaust sound" videos on this forum seem to be with cameras stuck right next to the exhaust, or on the side of the road filming drive-by's. Personally, I'm interested in how an exhaust sounds from inside the car because for me it's really about what I think about the sound either driving or riding in the car, not about what people outside the car think about the sound.

that's a terrific sounding set of pipes ALL thru the range. reminds me of my decat kline but an excellent choice, and definitely would have to be near the top of the list for consideration(s). nice exhaust AND vids. job well done.
