Default What a Great Day For ME

Paid $2454 for registration renewal at 10am in the morning...

Went to do my 15K service

Paid $380 For 15K Service (got a new stereo system due to porsche's recall of failure earlier units, but I found out that they disconnected my power for the orginal one, so I have no music to listen to b4 the new unit arrives) (I'm lazy to go back to dealer to tell them to fix it)

During The 15K Service, Was Told that I got a needle on my rear right tire...

Went to by-design immediately for tire change

Paid $550+ for the rear 285 tire and labor and air filter cleaning...

Spend thousands of dollars, and ordered a new pair of GT3 Carbon seats...
And I might even get a new Cage...
=_="

Conclusion...another 10,000 gone out of my pocket....

Wat A Great Day... I now wish I got Gate as my last name....

Lu-Ting...

I totally feel for you! The registration is totally absurd now days...

Are you using the 285/30-19" tires? What brand are you using?

Good luck on your new mods...Mods always make me feel good! At least until I get the bill!

Chris: yeah 285 SO3
I heard Michilin is going to have the 19inch for our rear soon...(315?)
And I'll try to run hard, and have more canyon run during weekends and track during holidays to wear these tires out....hahaha

Last930: Yup... but too bad that my skin is extremely sensitive, and I can't really enjoy the sunshine ~><~... I guess I came to the wrong place...

Luting - Not to be argumentative, but I have an '01 Turbo that i just re-registered in L.A. county also and I only paid around $780. I don't see how you could possibly pay 3 times what I paid even with a brand new car!!?!?

Also what dealer did you go to for a $380 15K service? The complete service AT DEALER COST is a tad under $450. Again, I'm not saying this to argue, but so I can switch to your cheaper dealer!

Sorry - I just realized that the registration renewal increased because of Dumbass Davis.

And you will realize that "three times" when you go.

Taxation without any thought to business, population, or logic. Thats the.... no more policto talk, sorry.

Get a PO in Utah or Wisconsin, and register the car there. I pay 40 bucks a year.
