32Krazy (Steve) what flywheel do you have? Which clutch kit are you running? The airgap between the crank sensor and flywheel is 1mm.

I've been comparing your kit with the 996 GT3 RS LWF kit on ECS tuning's website.

What's the difference with the 764 pressure plate vs the 996 gt3 pressure plate? Both are made by Sachs i believe, are they one in the same?
How about the 964 flywheel vs the OEM/Sebro GT3RS flywheel ? Are these the same spec?

Does your kit include the release fork guide shaft, release guide tube phillips head screws, clutch release fork, clutch release lever bearings?

Wouldn't you recommend changing the clutch lever needle bearings and rear main seal while in there? Do you offer these?

What are your thoughts on doing the lightweight crankshaft pulley in order to balance the crankshaft better with this modification?

tilton triple disc metallic clutch and hrb. as for the flywheel im unable to find the manufacturer. its a lwfw aluminum wheel with 132 starter teeth and 58 crank teeth. metal as a magnet sticks to the teeth. looks similatr to an aasco wheel but doesnt have the cutouts on the backside for weight reduction. sadly i never measured the distance before installing the trans.

dcruz, the NA GT3 pressure plates have 35% less clamp force vs the 764 pp. The picture in the first post and 13 post shows all the items in the kit. It does NOT include the clutch throw out release FORK or shaft. I can provide those. Please feel free to email me.

Kevin,

As soon as my new-to-me 2002 Turbo needs a fresh clutch, I know where to go! I may talk to you about your UMW tune first, which of course will necessitate a clutch not too long thereafter.

This is the clutch switch. Wires need to be attached(complete the electrical circuit) for the car to start.

So, to get this straight, I disconnect the wires going to these terminals and then just make a quick “bridge” wire and connect the two terminals together? Assuming that is correct, this reduces pressure on the system for starts? Does it do anything while driving? Thanks

Remove the two wires, make a bridge wire with a male connector on each end, and connect the two wires together. After doing this you no longer need to depress the clutch to start the car, thereby bypassing the accumulator on start up.

Well, it would appear that when the engine was out, then put back in, one of the power steering bracket bolts failed, allowing the other two to vibrate themselves loose.

The end result was a very expensive sounding noise from a stop light that made me think something went in the gearbox... so I shut 'er down and waited for the tow truck.

I am happy it wasn't serious, and this is an excellent example of when you have a lot of work done, be sure to tool around town for 1000kms (600mls) to make sure everything is good, because if it's going to break like this did today, it'll likely happen in the first 1000kms, and not out in the boonies miles away from everything...

Track season is in force.. Feel free to reach out to me with "any" of your clutch questions..

I have a pretty good webpage showing the popular choices.
