Where is everyone?
It seems like the activity level on this board has fallen off a cliff since it was switched to the new format. What happened?
Anyone know what happened yesterday at Infineon?

I have the same question...Why??
Too many forums for me to keep up with...Rennlist is my homepage (when I start browser) and I regularly check bmwm5.com (the new software here is exactly like there!!). Now I guess a lot of you post on funcars and 6speed!!
Anyone here on flatsix.net?

I think it's because when you try to get in it brings you to the old format, especially for the Turbo forum.
I only found this by accident!
The instructions about how to execute the changes are as clear as mud.

msindi, I'm on flat-6.net too, yeah.
And I too don't understand why many people moved to 6speedonline. It's slower, and doesn't offer a 'better' (whatever that means) service than rennlist.com. But it's new!... And the layout might look a bit sexier. But the underlying technology is the same.
Personally, I don't understand why these guys needed to start a new forum that's so much similar to rennlist. I asked that question there, but got no real answer so far...
Anyway, everybody has the freedom to start any forum, and members can (and will) travel from one to the other. It's just a bit silly to see the same post appearing maybe twice on here (for example under 996 and 996 Turbo), and twice there as well... Go figure...

Also, if there's anything not as clear as a whistle, all you have to do is ask and someone will be happy to help.
Cheers!

Hmmm.......
Just reading this thread.... Some "confusion" took place last night/today, as I "opened" the old Forum (they couldn't post) for a while so folks could get PM's retrieve a few dozen posts that were posted during the transition, etc... However - I did bring over about 651,327 posts into this new forum..???
Anyway - for folks that like other Forum formats - I *can* add Rennlist Sponsor banners as headers across all the pages, if you like that format better????

The onyl thing I'd like to see added is the 'show new messages' function. Would be cool to activate it...
