All are quality products but in the end you definitely get what you pay for. Instead of using plastic we eliminate any chance of flex by having an all aluminum structure. Then there are three easily adjustable lever positions of your choice that are simply accessed under the shift boot. At the lowest setting you'll have a 40% throw reduction. I'm sure though after you have one installed you'll forget all about the throw and focus entirely on the experience! You'd be one happy camper plus we back it with a lifetime warranty!

The interior socket lining (the socket that connects to the lower ball-end of the shifter) is hard urethane in the shift link. There is zero play inside the socket because the ball-end can not compress the hard urethane. The OEM connector has soft rubber inside the socket, and the ball-end easily compresses the rubber. Additionally, the OEM connector is made of plastic (it can crack/break) where the EVOMS piece is billet aluminum and is a very solid surround for the hard urethane in the socket. The difference in shifter fell between the OEM connector and the shift link is night and day.

Dock...don't shoot the messenger...did you read the link? BTW the EVOMs linkage also uses set-screws to attach to the wires...more room for failures. I believe the difference in the stock linkage and the EVOMs link is hardly night and day...but you do a nice sales job for EVOMS...I'll stay with my PERFECT setup thank you. In any case lets not forget the OP, which is why I gave multiple comparison links...not to force my OPINION on others...LOL...Happy Holidays.

Sorry, I didn't intend it to be taken that way.
I realize that. I've installed three of them on three different Turbos. Tighten the allen screw down nice and tight and add a drop of lock-tight. I've had my shift link installed for over 8.5 years now; never had any issue with the attachment.
With the B&M plus shift link, when the shifter reaches the end of the gear change it feels like how the wooden handle of a ball ping hammer feels if you hit a solid plate steel with the hammer; hard as a rock. That is way different than the feel produced by the OEM connector.
Merry Christmas.

I had these lying around and wanted to share the visual comparisons of one another. The top shifter came out of our 996 GT3 cup car, the one below it came out of a 997 GT3 and finally a pic of a Numeric Racing shifter plus the two. I also wanted to share a Numeric testimonial thread from a recent install replacing the stock GT3 RS shifter: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-gt2-...t-shifter.html
Food for thought...

correction. you dont perfection until you hold the numeric in your hands!! its a shame to cover it with a boot. at the track i have missed 3rd gear more than a few times. ( had a b&m ss but didnt know it at the time. it came with the car) with the numeric its as if the shifter knows what gear i want to be in

I don't track my Turbo, and I don't miss 3rd with my current setup.
I'm glad people love their numeric, it's just not what I need. Enjoy yours in good health.
